SEA VIEW

In 2024, our iconic Barcelona center will host Europe’s third Time Out Market on its 5,200 sq.m rooftop. With monumental views over the city and the sea, this food and culture market concept will become a hot spot on Barcelona’s culinary scene. Work to transform the center includes improving top-floor access, restructuring the rooftop and revamping the main facade. The retail mix will also be enriched. The opening is planned just in time for the America’s Cup! With a unique totemic architecture designed by BIG - Bjarke Ingels Group, the shopping mall will be transformed into a hub for events and urban life.

Urban Synergies

Grand Place, Grenoble's leading shopping destination, is getting a makeover!
The renovation project was completed in 2023, totally revamping the customer experience: more light, warm materials, new reception areas, artistic events and a new forecourt open to the city. The extension welcomes new leading brands, as well as a food court and entertainment areas.

As part of the GRANDALPE urban project, which is developing a 400-hectare area in the heart of the Grenoble area, the shopping center's extension creates a new urban boulevard that favors soft mobility, totally upgrading the center's environment.

The renovation-extension offers new formats and entertainment spaces in the heart of the city. Designed as a destination in its own right, the enhanced and enlarged shopping mall also offers concert and conference facilities.

Gran Reno

Regional Connections

This leading regional destination now boasts a total surface area of 53,000 sq.m, with 150 stores under an impressive glass canopy. Well served by public transportation, it offers retailers a new setting for their flagship stores, with a covered promenade, a food court, and a breathtaking rooftop named the Terrazza Bologna. The two-year renovation project is an architectural and environmental success. The new retail areas feature floor-to-ceiling windows that give brands an unrivaled canvas for their displays. As with all of our recent development projects, the Gran Reno center is BREEAM-certified to “Excellent” level, and its renovation includes 230 kWp of rooftop solar power. The rail link connecting Gran Reno to Bologna’s city center raised the mall’s regional profile, consistent with Klépierre’s strategy of focusing on the most dynamic metropolitan areas and refining its retail mix over time: fewer supermarkets, more pacesetting retail shops.

An Urban Ambition

Designed from the outset in partnership with the city of Utrecht, Hoog Catharijne lies at the heart of a vast urban redevelopment project. Located near Utrecht’s train station, it’s the most popular mall in The Netherlands.

The projected renovation and expansion, seamlessly woven into the surrounding city, departs from traditional notions of a shopping center: the new shops, restaurants and event venues will be flanked by residences, a hotel and office space.
