Act For Good® 2019 included three major avenues of community outreach. First was the Facebook Pool, in which followers were invited to vote for their favorite charitable initiative. Second, the malls hosted arts installations, with a focus on hands-on workshops and a variety of activities that were both fun and educational. Lastly, Plastic-Free Day raised €29,700 from donations of unused plastic bags. A total of 271 retailers took part in the event, which reduced plastic bag consumption by 33,905 bags. The campaign’s growing success as a collective community endeavor marks it as a can’t-miss event for the future.
