Renewable electricity: Klepierre's centers step up to the plate
A major challenge for the Klepierre group is to meet the challenge of energy independence, which is all the more important in the current context. One of the solutions is to turn to decarbonized electricity production directly in and around the shopping centers.
In 2022, 3 centers in Madrid started to produce green energy which leads the total production to 3811 MWh. This represents 2.5 times the production of 2021 with now 11 malls producing renewable energy so far.
