French actor-rapper Joey Starr made an unannounced appearance at the transit hub, reciting literary works by Victor Hugo, Jean Jaurès, Aimé Césaire and others from a makeshift stage. The forty-minute performance was an excerpt from his one-man theater show, Éloquence à l’Assemblée, and reflected his desire to speak out publicly about peace, justice and equality.
