The Centre Deux shopping center, which recently underwent extensive interior and exterior renovation works, opened a 3,500-square-meter store for Irish retailer Primark this morning.

Christine Loizy, Managing Director for Primark France, Louis Bonelli, Klépierre Managing Director for France-Belgium, and Jean-Pierre Berger, First Deputy Mayor of Saint-Etienne Métropole, were all present for the event, which kicked off a new era for the center and the people of Saint-Etienne. There were nearly 1,500 shoppers within the first 15 minutes of opening!

The arrival of Primark in this fully renovated shopping center will boost the current retail offering, which includes JD Sports, Footlocker, Sephora, H&M and the more recent addition Californian Burger, opened by a local restaurant owner. Between now and the summer, our visitors will be able to discover Mary’s Coffee, which recently won the Retailers Now and Tomorrow award. Other openings will follow, with a shoe store, a leather goods store and new services coming soon.

This opening is an excellent example of a beneficial partnership between Primark, Klépierre and the city of Saint Etienne.
