Klépierre and the Renault Group — the European leader in electric and shared mobility — have formed a long-term partnership that pools their strengths to offer innovative mobility services.

Renault Mobility is offering a shared mobility service, fully digital and available in the parking areas of Klépierre shopping centers. Customers enjoy the use of an innovative carsharing solution that they can access through the Renault Mobility* mobile app. The service will include both conventional and electric cars to meet a variety of mobility needs, and will be deployed throughout France over the coming months. Renault Électrique and Klépierre are also developing multipurpose charging hubs for electric vehicles, dubbed Charging Houses, to be installed at malls in densely populated areas. The hubs will be used primarily by mall visitors during the day and by nearby residents on nights and weekends. This community-oriented solution helps Klépierre meet one of its major commitments to its host regions: to install EV charging stations at all of its shopping centers by 2022.

Over the longer term, Renault and Klépierre plan to continue their partnership by studying and designing new services using connected cars and driverless cars. They’ll also be looking at how mall parking and access can be reconfigured to accommodate these vehicles of the future.
