Klépierre, the European leader in shopping malls, announces that Julien Goubault has been promoted to General Secretary of the Group.

Julien Goubault joined Klépierre in October 2016 as Chief Communications Officer, in charge of financial and corporate communications, public affairs and coordination of the CSR policy.

The Klépierre Executive Board has promoted Julien Goubault to General Secretary effective June 1, 2020. The position was created to oversee human resources, governance, legal affairs, sustainable development, and corporate communication and public affairs.

Julien Goubault’s career began as an auditor at the Cour des Comptes in 2005. He was subsequently appointed deputy director of external audit at the United Nations in New York in 2007. Julien Goubault was put in charge of property, housing and tourism at the Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations department for development, subsidiaries and equity investments in 2010. In 2013 Julien Goubault joined Icade as Deputy Chief Financial Officer.

Julien Goubault, 41, is a Sciences Po Paris graduate and an ÉNA alumni.
